Hi, my name is Lazarus but everyone calls me Laza. I'm a young adult from the sunny, windy city of Windhoek, who is on an odyssey of sorts. Call it a spiritual journey through my imagination and into my soul, to discover what keeps me whole, and brings me closer to my Higher Self. My preferred means of self expression would be writing poetry, and drawing. Although i'm certainly no professional, i have a deep passion that keeps me coming back, to sitting with my pen or pencil in my hand, while a blank canvas lies before me. I know for sure this is what i was meant to be doing, so I'll do it even on days when its boring. I have lived a long life, I've been emotionally emasculated, physically punched and financially ruined, so much so i found myself homeless.
I have battled addiction, suffered through depression, and found the broken pieces of my heart, scattered around town, but you will never see me frown, for i am stronger because of these things.
It is our struggles that make us stronger. I have big dreams for the future, but i am not sure, how long i will live for. Which is why i choose to be grateful for each and everyday, and strive to inspire others to be better versions of themselves. That is one reason why i started this blog, and continue to log, the stories of the strife in my life. Hoping it motivates you, too keep going, even when the wind is blowing against you.
