My first time seeing you

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.

Albert Einstein

The first time i saw you
You did not have your make-up on.
Your brows were a bit bushy
Your lips a little dry
But oh! my you had a twinkle in your eye
And your smile was brighter
Even than the sun in the sky.
I fell for you instantly.

The second time i saw you
You had your make up on.
Your brows were brushed
Your lips were well lubricated
But your beautiful brown eyes
Unfortunately were not gleaming
Behind long lashes, that lured me
To the shadow around your eyes.

Inside, i was feeling a bit torn
For not having a pen and paper to rhyme
About the fact, that, although you look so fine
I think without make-up you look divine.
