Creepy Crawly

Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.

Helen Keller

Creepy Crawly climbing quickly
up the tall wall. Creepy Crawly
is climbing quickly up the wall.
Will he fall? Only God can tell
why Creepy Crawly is climbing
quickly up the wall
even though he may fall
to his hell.

The Poets Peace

Well hello there friend! I’m glad you joined me today.

It’s Monday once again, and thankfully it is not a blue one for me. I really hope it’s the same for you too, that it’s not clouded by any negativity. That instead the weather in your mind is sunshine and clear blue skies.

Today’s poem is a fabrication of reality. There wasn’t no creepy crawly climbing quickly up the wall that inspired me to write it. Well, at least not in the physical environment since it was all just in my head. The poem was inspired by my desire to play with alliteration. I wrote it a few weeks ago in my poetry journal, and since then it has been begging for me to share it on my blog.

And so, because I don’t have the mouth to say ‘No’ to poems begging me to be shared, I hope you enjoyed it and that it somehow lifted your mood from bad to good–even just for a second.

If so, then do not be shy to let me know in the comment section below–I’m always delighted to hear from you.
